A day off...sort of.
Due to the bronchoscopy procedure this morning, Phil took a respite from the weaning program today. Hopefully, he will feel strong enough to resume tomorrow. The preliminary findings from the procedure was swelling in the lungs and thick fluids. As before, it will take a few days for the cultures to grow and provide more insights.
This is one wicked roller-coaster.

ReplyDeleteWe are so happy to see Phil continuing to progress. Recovery certainly can be a two-step forward, one-step backwards process but Philodendron has a strong will and a lot of luck too! I remember one fine evening on my back patio where as luck would have it, Phil went “All In” and threw down a royal flush. Lucky for me deuces were wild and my 5 Aces took the pot. Thanks for the 100 bucks, Philadelphia! I hope this stirs up some mustard in your soul to come on back down to Florida and try to win it back. My back patio awaits your company. We miss you and pray for your continued recovery.
